For this response I have focused on Andy’s Post on Pedagogy.

Hi Andy!
I appreciate your personal approach to explaining what Pedagogy means to you. In this section you mentioned that as a teacher you would be trying to achieve the desired learning outcomes in the best way possible within the restrictions placed upon you. It it important to admit that teachers do have restrictions when it comes to pedagogy. Restrictions such as staying within the format of the class and required teaching material is a huge restriction that teachers experience. If we look at pedagogy as a way to express learning into the minds of the learners then it must be seen as a dynamic method to teach. Just as learners all have a different unique way to learn things. Restricting this is certainly a downfall to pedagogy as it limits the way one person learns compared to another. For example, requiring evaluation through written timed tests may not be best for all.
One of the restrictions may apply to networked pedagogy, a term you mentioned. These networked online communities can certainly enhance learning for many, but looking at the restrictions the format produces, such as no physical touch with the material or hands on contributions with others, may be a underpowering certain learners.
